The Town of Bristol requires Transfer Station Permits for all Bristol property owners that wish to use the Transfer Station. Anyone who does not have a visible Transfer Station Permit on their vehicle will not be allowed to use the Bristol Transfer Station.

Transfer Station Permits must be purchased at the Town Clerk / Tax Collector’s Office in the Bristol Town Offices. Prices and requirements for the purchase can be reviewed in the Solid Waste Fees.

General household garbage is collected at the upper Transfer Station. Also collected at the upper Transfer Station are construction and demolition debris, metals, burnable items, appliances, small propane tanks, and other items for a possible fee. Please see Solid Waste Fees for prices. 

Seasonally, at the lower Transfer Station, we accept yard debris leaves, wood and other yard clean up products. Please see Hours of Operation for more information.
