U.S. Department of Commerce Invests $3.52 Million to Protect Businesses from Flooding

Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $3.52 million grant to the Town of Bristol to make flood control infrastructure improvements needed to protect the downtown commercial district. The EDA grant will be matched with $500,000 in state funds and $380,000 in local matching funds. Read the full press release here.
