2025 Conservation Commission Meeting Dates, Filing Deadlines & Fees
Conservation Commission meetings occur on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 6 pm unless otherwise noted on the agenda.
We strongly encourage an applicant to talk to the Land Use Office before a project idea is urgent. Feel free to schedule an appointment to discuss the application prior to submitting. The Land Use Office will review the application materials and provide feedback as soon as possible.
Missing information/forms could impact the actual hearing date of the case — or the case may be rejected by the Commission for incompleteness. Applicants may request a continuance to the following month, if necessary. A project could take a minimum of 30 days to get through the process. All applications are subject to the Board's discretion.
Below is a list of Hearing & Filing Dates for the Conservation Commission. To download an a permit or certificate application, see the FEE schedule, and all other supporting documents please visit the PERMITS & APPLICATIONS page.
**All items required for a complete application must be submitted by 12pm of the deadline date.
- Occasionally (because of elections, holidays, or weather—for example), a hearing date may be changed at the discretion of the CC.
- *Meetings will be canceled in the event no business is pending or no applications have been duly filed by the applicable deadline.
NOTE: Special Use Permit applications can take a bit more time to process (compared to other requests) because applications must be reviewed by the Health Officer and the Conservation Commission before the Planning Board can review them.
