CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) COMMITTEE

SEEKS MEMBERS TO SERVE

Interested in becoming a valuable part of the community planning process?

The Capital Improvements Program (CIP) Committee is an advisory committee, established under the Planning Board, that develops a roadmap for capital spending to minimize the impact on taxes

The CIP links local infrastructure investments with master plan goals, land use ordinances, and economic development efforts.

The CIP bridges the gap between planning and spending, and the fiscal realities of improving and expanding community facilities.

The CIP Committee is responsible for planning the capital needs of the town for at least ten years ahead and reviewing the accuracy of the projections on a yearly basis. The CIP Committee works diligently to review and update its recommendations, those of the Town Administrator and Town Department Managers.
