Kudos to Bristol Water and Sewer Department

The Bristol Water and Sewer Department was visited by NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) on March 13, 2023. The Engineer from NHDES advised the Department to keep up the great work and that not everyone can do the job of protecting human health and the environment. The engineer felt that a great deal of recognition should be placed on this.

NHDES added that the tour of the site provided an image of a well-maintained wastewater infrastructure and wastewater treatment process. An onsite staffing report was done during the site visit which indicated the need for a staff of four operators to properly run the facility. With two operators and one part-time person it is a great indication of how competent and hardworking the current staff is. Because of their extensive knowledge of the plant and process, the plan has operated as intended. NHDES ended the report with, a great deal of gratitude goes out to the Bristol Wastewater Treatment Plant. It is a very important job, not one that everyone can do, and the job and staff should be brought up often to the Town and recognized for all they do.

Kudos to Jeff Chartier, Jesse Lamos, Joel Furmanick, Ken Pelletier, Justin Merwin and Carrie Nyberg!!!!

Thank you for the incredible job you do every day.
