All are welcome to stop in and wish her well. Included below is a message from Raymah:
TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE BRISTOL WONDERFUL!
As I leave to embark on a journey of retirement, I could not leave without thanking all of you for making my job a pleasure. It has been a privilege to serve you for the past 30 years. I am aware that not many people can state that they truly love the work they do and the job they are in, but I was one of those fortunate enough to do so, and you all made it possible. In the future, as I reflect on my years spent as your Town Clerk / Tax Collector, I will cherish the memories we have shared, for you were not only my customers, but you were also my friends.
Cheryl Herbert will be the new Town Clerk / Tax Collector. She has worked with me for 3 years, and many of you know Cheryl already. Carrie Nyberg will be the new Deputy Town Clerk / Tax Collector. She is just learning this role and will be a great addition to this office. Dorothy “Dottie” Luce has also joined the team as an Assistant in January and is still learning. Please welcome them.
Thank you all again!
Raymah Simpson
