2026 Town Budget

The Bristol Budget Committee will be starting work on the 2026 Town Budget this month. All members of the public are invited to attend all Budget Committee meetings. All Budget Committee meetings are held on Tuesday evenings starting at 6:00 in conference room A of the Town Office.

The first committee meeting will be October 14th. All Outside Agencies seeking financial support from the town in 2026 are invited to come share why their organization deserves town support and answer questions from committee members.

The second committee meeting will be October 21st. The Select Board will share their recommended draft 2026 budget and their priorities for Bristol in 2026.

The third meeting will be October 28th. The Budget Committee will discuss big picture budget issues. How does the Select Board recommended draft budget look and are there any concerns or thoughts individual members want to share with the entire committee.

Future meetings in November, December, and January will review details and approve a proposed budget for each budget section (town departments, boards, & committees).
