Landowners wishing to merge contiguous parcels of land for municipal regulation and taxation purposes can file a Merger of Lots or Parcels. The following form must be filled out and submitted to the Land Use Department. Please note the following:

  • If the property has a mortgage, lien, or other encumbrance, then an approval must be included with the form.
  • $100.00 Fee
  • Please print on Legal size (8.5"x14") paper.
  • Voluntary Merger of Lots or Parcels

Involuntarily Merged Lots

Landowners that have a lot or lots that may have been merged by municipal action for zoning, assessing or taxation purposes without prior consent of the landowner may request that the lots be restored to their pre-merger status and all zoning and tax maps updated. The following can be used to assist the landowner in this process:
