July Newsletter from Minot-Sleeper Library
This month I am thanking all who give to the Minot-Sleeper Library. Those of you who serve or who have served as library trustees, who are or have been a member of the Friends of the Library, those of you who volunteer, have dropped off donations, and those who have given to the library in monetary ways - Thank You!
The support our library receives from the community makes what we do for others possible. This month, two great art workshops are being funded through a generous donation in memory of Jeanne Litchfield Thompson, whose family holds ties to Newfound Lake. The first event is Painting on Canvas, led by an instructor from Art Escape in Laconia, on Wednesday, July 10 at 4pm. The second will be Zendoodling, led by Suzan Gannett of Artistic Roots in Plymouth, on Wednesday, July 17 at 3:30pm. Both programs welcome teens and adults at no cost. RSVP is required and can be made by calling the library at 603-744-3352.

Events include an evening talk on how satellite meteorology is used today with a Plymouth State University Professor, and an author talk with Michael Cameron Ward on his book series "Sketches of Lee" and his family's experience living as a black family in New Hampshire.
