Election Day - November 5, 2024

Election Day is upon us on November 5, 2024. 

The Voting location is 45 Summer St, the Historic Town Hall, from 8:00am to 7:00pm. 

Please note the Town Clerk/Tax Collector's Office will be closed all day as they are needed to work the polling location.

See below for more information about parking and shuttle service:  

- Handicap Parking at the Historic Town Hall - There is 1 handicap parking space at the Historic Town Hall. If the space is open, please feel free to use the space to access the building.

- Building Access - The building can be accessed up the stairs in front or on the right side of the building via a ramp.

- School Street - Please note that School Street will be used as "Entrance only". This will allow for less traffic issues to access parking at the Town Office Building. All other traffic that normally exits School Street will be detoured up Winter Street and Spruce Street back to Summer Street. No traffic will be allowed exit School Street. If you use the Town Office Parking, please follow the Detour signs when you leave. 

- Town Office Building - 5 School Street - This parking lot is open for all voters. If you are working the elections or standing outside promoting your favorite candidate, please do not park at the Town Offices. This space is needed for voters during the day!!! Voters can park and walk up the sidewalk to the Historic Town Hall or use the Shuttle Service. 

- Shuttle Service: A Town Vehicle will be parked in the front corner of the Town Office parking lot. There will be signage at the parking spot and on the vehicle. If the vehicle is not there, please wait, as the driver may be delivering another voter to the Hall. We have volunteers signed up to drive all day and the vehicle will be going back and forth all day, if needed.
