Welcome to the 2023 Town Meeting page. As materials become available, this page will be updated to provide the public with as much information as possible to assist with understanding the matters to be voted on - both Voting Day and the Business Session.

Petitioned Warrant Articles - The deadline for Petitioned Warrant Articles was on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 and the submission period is now CLOSED. Petitioned Warrant Articles require signatures of 25 or more registered voters or 2% of the total registered voters, whichever is less, but in no case fewer than 10 voters. For questions on this, please contact the Town Clerk / Tax Collector's Office. 

Budget Committee Public Hearing - Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 6m - The Public Hearing will be held at Bristol Town Offices at 5 School Street and will be live streamed. The live stream can be viewed on YouTube by following this link. The Budget Committee was able to present and vote on all required items, so there was no second meeting. 

Candidates Forum - Interested in learning more about the candidates running for office. Plan on attending a Candidates Forum, hosted at the Minot-Sleeper Library on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10:30am. Brittany Overton will be the Moderator. Voting Day - Elections are scheduled for Tuesday, March 14, 2023. The polls are open from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM at Historic Town Hall - 45 Summer Street. Ballot Articles include the Election of Officers (Article 1) and the Proposed Zoning Amendments (Articles 2-10).

Article 1 - Election of Officers - The Filing Period for Town Elections closed on February 3, 2023. However, interested parties can still run as a write-in candidate. The following positions are OPEN and the following candidates are running for each position:

Articles 2-10 - Proposed Zoning Amendments are prepared by the Planning Board. They have been vetted throughout the year and presented at Public Hearings held in 2022. Town Meeting - Business Session - March 18, 9:00 AM at the Newfound Regional High School Auditorium - This session is for Articles 11- 22, which include the operating budget and any proposed capital items or special Warrant Articles.

2022 Town Report - The Town Report books are available at the Town Offices and will be available at both elections and Town Meeting. The digital version is available HERE
